The Centre of Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery (CPRM) of Latvia specializes in hand and reconstructive microsurgery. This is the only place in Latvia where it is possible to reattach amputated parts of body. The Centre works 24 hours every day and service is provided by well-trained and experienced plastic surgeons.

The Centre of Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery of Latvia was established in 1985 as the only specialized Department of Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery by Clinical Hospital “Gailezers” in Latvia. Almost all the plastic and hand surgeons of Latvia have been trained by the staff of this department. Nowadays the Centre is still training residents and fellows in plastic and hand surgery.

The staff of doctors consists of experienced plastic and orthopaedic surgeons who have trained and upgraded their skills in the U.S.A., Singapore, Norway, Germany and Austria. The skills and contacts acquired abroad as well as the deep interest in plastic surgery allow us to follow innovations in medicine and introduce the most progressive techniques of plastic surgery in Latvia.

CPRM is located in Clinical Hospital „Gailezers” on the outskirts of Riga. We serve private patients and provide hand and reconstructive surgery services to subsidized patients. Operations are performed in well-equiped operating theatres. Wards are comfortable and the nursing staff is skilled and very friendly. Patients can choose single or double rooms with all facilities.
